Meet Adam
About Adam
An Atlanta native, Adam has performed and taught professionally in New York City since 2013. He graduated from the University of North Texas jazz studies program, where he played lead alto in the six-time Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band and earned multiple DownBeat Magazine student awards.
In New York he has shared the bandstand with George Colligan, Mike Clark, Victor Lewis, and Jay Leonhart, among others, and performs regularly at Jazz at the Kitano. His debut album, Dreaming Is Free, came out in 2017, and his double-alto project AH2 won first place in the jazz category of the 2020 Unsigned Only competition.
