Hello and welcome back! Today we invite you along as we recap one of our favorite weddings from this year. All the festivities took place at The Sheraton of Eatontown, a venue we consider to be all-inclusive complete with great food, great staff, great scenery, and a hotel all on-site!
We knew for a long time this was going to be a great day. It was all smiles in bride and groom prep as lead photographer Sara Robinson captured all that went into onsite preparations leading up to this incredible day!
The first look was magical, as Steve got to set eyes on his bride-to-be amidst the pre-ceremony golden hour, creating a fabulous opportunity for portraits and group photos. Sara is a great photographer, but these two made it easy! Feast your eyes on what she captured from this incredible photo session!
So many great shots from this session! We love taking advantage of the idea of doing a first look and knocking out all sorts of group photos and portraits on the list before the ceremony. We had a few minutes to relax, then it was time for the ceremony at the beautiful outdoor space provided by the Sheraton. Steve knew what he was doing here… just look at his face as he marries Shannon. Priceless!!
More family photos ensued after the ceremony as the light was still great. We joined cocktail hour for a few, which is always great at the Sheraton, and then we set up for what was surely going to be a joyous reception filled with all the love from this young couple and their guests. FNA’s DJ Demby and DJ Mormile moved through formalities as guests enjoyed introductions, first dances, and speeches that made us laugh, cry, and laugh some more.
FNA’s DJ team kicked it into overdrive, serving as a proverbial vending machine of 90’s, and 2000’s hits as they made their way through Shannon and Steve’s must-play list. The 90s punk set was the biggest hit. The entire room sang along to The Killers – Mr. Brightside and Blink 182 – All the Small Things. They were huge Springsteen fans and we ended the night with Thunder Road.
The Sheraton’s built-in uplighting created the vibe and ambiance for all of their guests as we rocked out. The photo-video team scoured the dance floor capturing still shots and video clips as they documented this enchanted evening.
This whole day just rocked! We were so excited to be a part of it. Watch their wedding come to life in this cinematic highlight reel of their day!
